These watercolours are vegan, containing only a mix of soils and plant pigments, calcium carbonate and binder (water, Arabic gum, vegetal glycerin and thyme oil).
Artisanal watercolours are handmade paints which implies that not two are the same. They can have different properties to industrial watercolours due to the naure of the pigment. This is especially true when foraged or hand processed.
Some of the differences you will notice are tinting strength, granulation and texture.
