Layered plant pot

Made with mixed reclaim clay from Bristol School of Art sink trap.

Hand made on the potters wheel. These pots got through quite a few layers of glazing. With a food safe clear glaze on the inside, followed by an uneven dip of gloss oat, gloss translucent white or reclaim glaze* and half a dip of transparent again.

reclaim glaze* : Every batch is different depending of what has been used during the collection time. Current batch is Megamix 2604. This is a mix of glaze washed off tools, hands and surfaces, glaze tests and mistakes that would have otherwise ended up down the drain or in the bin. Collected from my studio, friends' studios and Bristol School of Art.

A line of clay is may be kept bare to make the clay tactile.

Expect similar tones but expect variation on from batch to batch.
