Layered mug - white

Made with lightly flecked Staffordshire buff stoneware clay.

Dishwasher and microwave safe.

Hand made on the potters wheel with a slab built handle. These mugs got through quite a few layers of glazing. With a food safe clear glaze on the inside, followed by an uneven dip of gloss oat, gloss translucent white and half a dip of transparent again.

A line of clay is kept bare to make the clay tactile on both hands.
