Foraged watercolours - porcelain half pans in tiny tin

1 x set of 6 foraged colours processed by myself or friends in west Scotland, Somerset, south-east Spain and Poland.

ASSORTED foraged materials: walnut bark stain, brick, plaster Spanish yellow ochre, BS5 green clay, Spanish green clay.

ASSORTED foraged soils: polish blush clay, mixed red ochres, BS5 green clay, BH20 ochre, polish green clay-slate, BH20 grey clay.

Artisanal watercolours are handmade paints which implies that not two are the same. They can have different properties to industrial watercolours due to the nature of the pigment.

This is especially true when foraged or hand processed.

Some of the differences you will notice are tinting strength, granulation and texture.
